My Dad is in the photo and my uncle – George and John Feather, I’d be very keen to be able to access a copy of this photo, or to at least be able to save it somewhere. I have linked to Flickr and have managed to zoom in and find him, but as it is the property of the society unable to save a copy of the photo.
Many thanks
Lucy
My Dad, John Dixon, would have been 14 so will be on this photo as well. I think my mum still has the original photo. I don’t remember dad mentioning Feather as a name but the photo also has John Wetherall, Richard Robson – who’s just won this years Nobel prize for chemistry and John Townson.
I am in the front row 9 left from the middle of the photograth with glasses, Denis Peel aged 11 then 87 now 2026
I can remember Denis Peel. He was in 1A and Barret House
He came to school from the Harden / Wilsden area with Brian Field
and John Eastwood Turner from Cottingley.
I think he lived on a farm and relocated. Then he attended Prince Henry’
Grammar School in Otley
I am also 87 – not many of us left!
Hi, I’m trying to confirm if the school was operating in 1924. The reason being my Grandfather Julian Tyndale-Biscoe was headmaster of a boys school, where my Mother was born. I would be grateful for any help. Thank you
