The History Society was saddened to hear of the death a few days ago of local historian and author, Steven Wood. Steven made an incalculable contribution to cataloguing and recording the history of Haworth and other local villages, and published many books on the subject. He was always willing to help with related queries and gave talks to the History Society on several occasions, the most recent being in 2019. Our condolences to his family.
